a) Localisation (position GPS)
Avec votre autorisation (demandée par iOS/Android au premier lancement), BeRoule utilise votre position pour :
Concrètement : vos coordonnées GPS ne sont utilisées que pendant que l'app est ouverte (jamais en arrière-plan), et transmises à notre base de données uniquement comme paramètre d'une requête de recherche (« quelles bornes se trouvent près de ce point ? »). Elles ne sont écrites dans aucune table ni associées à un profil de déplacement lié à vous ; elles peuvent toutefois apparaître brièvement dans les journaux techniques standards de nos serveurs, comme pour toute requête envoyée à une API. Vous pouvez refuser l'accès à la localisation : l'app reste utilisable en recherchant une ville ou une adresse manuellement.
b) Recherches (ville, adresse, opérateur)
Quand vous tapez une ville ou une adresse dans la barre de recherche, ce texte est envoyé au service de géocodage Nominatim / OpenStreetMap (organisation indépendante, sans affiliation avec nous) pour le transformer en coordonnées. Nominatim applique sa propre politique de confidentialité : osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
Une recherche par nom de réseau (ex. « Tesla », « Electra ») est traitée directement par notre base de données, sans passer par Nominatim.
c) Identifiant technique pseudonyme
Pour vous permettre de signaler l'état d'une borne (fonctionne / en panne) et son prix sans créer de compte, l'app génère un identifiant aléatoire stocké uniquement sur votre appareil (pas de nom, pas d'e-mail, pas d'identifiant publicitaire ou matériel du téléphone). Cet identifiant est associé aux signalements que vous envoyez, pour limiter les abus (ex. spam). Il ne permet pas, à lui seul, de retrouver votre identité réelle. Techniquement, il s'agit d'une donnée pseudonyme (elle permet de relier vos signalements entre eux dans le temps) et non anonyme au sens strict — mais elle n'est jamais associée à votre nom, votre e-mail ou toute autre information permettant de vous identifier directement.
d) Signalements communautaires (avis)
Quand vous envoyez un avis sur une borne (statut, prix constaté, commentaire libre), ces informations sont enregistrées dans notre base de données et affichées publiquement à tous les utilisateurs de l'app sur la fiche de cette borne.
⚠️ N'incluez jamais d'information personnelle (nom, téléphone, adresse...) dans un commentaire : il sera visible par tout le monde.
e) Données stockées uniquement sur votre téléphone (jamais transmises)
Ces données restent sur votre appareil, dans le stockage local de l'application, et sont supprimées si vous désinstallez l'app.
f) Ce que nous ne collectons pas
BeRoule ne contient aucun outil d'analyse d'audience, aucun SDK publicitaire, aucun système de compte utilisateur (pas de nom, e-mail, mot de passe), et ne suit pas votre activité en dehors de l'application.
Nous ne vendons ni ne louons aucune donnée à des tiers à des fins publicitaires.
Les échanges entre l'app et nos serveurs sont chiffrés (HTTPS/TLS). L'accès à la base de données est protégé par des règles techniques limitant ce que l'app peut lire ou écrire.

BeRoule ne s'adresse pas spécifiquement aux enfants et ne collecte pas sciemment de données concernant des mineurs. L'app ne propose toutefois pas de vérification d'âge.
Cette politique peut évoluer avec les fonctionnalités de l'app. La date de dernière mise à jour est indiquée en haut de ce document. Les changements importants vous seront signalés dans l'app.

a) Location (GPS position)
With your permission (requested by iOS/Android on first launch), BeRoule uses your location to:
In practice: your GPS coordinates are only used while the app is open (never in the background), and sent to our database solely as a search-query parameter ("which stations are near this point?"). They are not written to any table or kept as a movement profile linked to you; they may however appear briefly in our servers' standard technical logs, as with any request sent to an API. You can decline location access: the app still works by manually searching a city or address.
b) Searches (city, address, network)
When you type a city or address in the search bar, that text is sent to the Nominatim / OpenStreetMap geocoding service (an independent organisation, not affiliated with us) to convert it into coordinates. Nominatim applies its own privacy policy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
A search by network name (e.g. "Tesla", "Electra") is handled directly by our database, without going through Nominatim.
c) Pseudonymous technical identifier
To let you report a station's status (working / broken) and price without creating an account, the app generates a random identifier stored only on your device (no name, no email, no advertising or hardware identifier). This identifier is attached to the reports you send, to limit abuse (e.g. spam). On its own, it cannot be used to find out who you really are. Technically, this is pseudonymous data (it links your reports together over time) rather than anonymous in the strict sense — but it is never tied to your name, email, or any other directly identifying information.
d) Community reports (reviews)
When you submit a review about a station (status, price seen, free-text comment), that information is stored in our database and displayed publicly to all app users on that station's page.
⚠️ Never include personal information (name, phone number, address...) in a comment: it will be visible to everyone.
e) Data stored only on your phone (never transmitted)
This data stays on your device, in the app's local storage, and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
f) What we do NOT collect
BeRoule contains no audience-analytics tool, no advertising SDK, no user-account system (no name, email, password), and does not track your activity outside the app.
We do not sell or rent any data to third parties for advertising purposes.
Exchanges between the app and our servers are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to the database is protected by technical rules limiting what the app can read or write.

BeRoule is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect data about minors. The app does not, however, offer age verification.
This policy may evolve alongside the app's features. The "last updated" date is shown at the top of this document. Significant changes will be flagged in the app.

Concreet: uw GPS-coördinaten worden enkel gebruikt terwijl de app open staat (nooit op de achtergrond), en enkel doorgestuurd als parameter van een zoekopdracht (« welke laadpalen bevinden zich in de buurt van dit punt? »). Ze worden in geen enkele tabel opgeslagen, noch bewaard als een aan u gekoppeld verplaatsingsprofiel; ze kunnen wel kort verschijnen in de standaard technische logs van onze servers, zoals bij elk verzoek aan een API. U kunt locatietoegang weigeren: de app blijft bruikbaar door handmatig een stad of adres te zoeken.
b) Zoekopdrachten (stad, adres, netwerk)
Wanneer u een stad of adres typt in de zoekbalk, wordt die tekst verstuurd naar de geocoderingsdienst Nominatim / OpenStreetMap (een onafhankelijke organisatie, niet aan ons verbonden) om ze om te zetten in coördinaten. Nominatim past zijn eigen privacybeleid toe: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
Een zoekopdracht op netwerknaam (bv. « Tesla », « Electra ») wordt rechtstreeks door onze database verwerkt, zonder via Nominatim te gaan.
c) Pseudoniem technisch ID
Om u toe te laten de status van een laadpaal te melden (werkt / defect) en de prijs, zonder een account aan te maken, genereert de app een willekeurige identificatiecode die enkel op uw toestel wordt bewaard (geen naam, geen e-mail, geen advertentie- of hardware-ID). Deze code wordt gekoppeld aan de meldingen die u verstuurt, om misbruik (bv. spam) te beperken. Op zichzelf laat ze niet toe uw echte identiteit te achterhalen. Technisch gezien gaat het om pseudonieme gegevens (ze koppelt uw meldingen doorheen de tijd aan elkaar) en niet om strikt anonieme gegevens — maar ze wordt nooit gekoppeld aan uw naam, e-mail of andere rechtstreeks identificerende informatie.
d) Meldingen van de community (beoordelingen)
Wanneer u een beoordeling over een laadpaal verstuurt (status, vastgestelde prijs, vrije opmerking), wordt die informatie opgeslagen in onze database en openbaar getoond aan alle gebruikers van de app op de pagina van die laadpaal.
⚠️ Vermeld nooit persoonlijke informatie (naam, telefoonnummer, adres...) in een opmerking: ze is zichtbaar voor iedereen.
e) Gegevens die enkel op uw telefoon worden bewaard (nooit doorgestuurd)
Deze gegevens blijven op uw toestel, in de lokale opslag van de app, en worden verwijderd als u de app verwijdert.
f) Wat we niet verzamelen
BeRoule bevat geen enkele tool voor publieksanalyse, geen advertentie-SDK, geen gebruikersaccountsysteem (geen naam, e-mail, wachtwoord), en volgt uw activiteit niet buiten de app.
We verkopen of verhuren geen gegevens aan derden voor reclamedoeleinden.
De communicatie tussen de app en onze servers is versleuteld (HTTPS/TLS). Toegang tot de database is beschermd door technische regels die beperken wat de app kan lezen of schrijven.
Volgens de AVG (GDPR) heeft u het recht om:
Om deze rechten uit te oefenen, contacteer ons via [email protected]. Omdat de app geen accounts of namen verzamelt, kunnen we u vragen naar de technische identificatiecode van uw melding (zichtbaar in de app) om ze terug te vinden.
BeRoule richt zich niet specifiek tot kinderen en verzamelt niet bewust gegevens over minderjarigen. De app biedt echter geen leeftijdsverificatie.
Dit beleid kan evolueren samen met de functies van de app. De datum « laatst bijgewerkt » staat bovenaan dit document. Belangrijke wijzigingen worden in de app gemeld.
